So I'm in a market for a desktop for a family member. Here are the specs I need. i7 processor 8 gigs of ram 500 gb hd decent video card for games. 22"+ monitor Have you guys seen any good deals recently?

When I purchased my desktop with i7 core, I got 6gb ram (this was back in Nov 2009) Because I read that i7 processors only uses ram by 3s... 3gb/6gb/9gb Anyway, I have nothing really to add, check out ibuypower or cyberpowerpc for customizable desktops for gaming... here's a tip, when buying from them, make sure the PSU is a name brand (corsair, etc)... because if you choose generic 650w or generic 800w, they'll give you something with their sticker on the side... which i'm 100% sure isn't the same output you paid for
