Guys let's loojk ahead to next year and forecast what may happen. First here are my assumptions:

    1. No major FA losses/gains or trades (although I am sure we will do something with Drew/Walt). We do however resign Mobley.

    2. We get pick 6 or 7 in the draft. I would love to get in the top 3, but I'm just being realistic. I would guess Martin & Fizer will be gone. Just for argument sake let's say we get Mo Peterson.

    3. Hakeems farewell tour is a healthy one. He comes back and is able to play a solid 24-30 minutes a game.

    4. I don't expect to get anyones 1st round optional picks this year (Detroit).

I see us as a much better team with a more experienced Stevie, KT, & Cat as well as an energized Dream. I would maybe guess slightly above .500, fighting for a 7-8 playoff spot. The rotation would be much like this year except Peterson would get minutes at the 2/3 positions, hopefully more minutes at the 3. He would be a major improvement on D then Walt, although he doesn't have the range.

Like I said I expect there to be a trade with Drew & Walt but I can't forecast what that may be, so I just took it out of the equation.

What do you guys think, would a playoff team be enough next year, too much, or what do you expect with our roster status quo (except our lottery pick) and a year of experience.

why would we be getting rid of Mobley? So that another team can prove to us how good he is? Unless it's a straight up trade for someone that can guarantee us 15 points a game that already knows our system, and that doesnt require Pippen-like money, that would be a dumb move.

Where did I say we get rid of Mobley? I said resign Mobley, because he is a free agent and therefore he will probably want a contract before he plays games for free!
