I recently stayed in downtown and really enjoyed the music and restaurants. Lots to do. I talked to people about a loft to purchase, and would be interested in an unfinished- warehouse type loft. Is anyone here familiar with the loft market? I would also be interested in a one bedroom-finished loft to purchase. Any info will be appreciated.
If every loft in this town was burnt to the ground, the pretentious yuppie population of Houston would experience a demographic collapse.
TBar, I actually know someone selling a loft in downtown. He lives in the Bayou Lofts right off of Franklin inbetween Travis and Main. If interested, let me know and maybe I could set something up between you guys.
If you don't mind me asking, how much does one expect to pay for a loft in Houston (and how many square feet is typical)?
Back in my apartment living days I checked out the lowest priced rooms at the Rice lofts. They were no bigger than a hotel room. And the storage space was horrible. They do have much bigger rooms but you'll pay out the ass.
