Can somebody explain to me why this woman is ever given airtime or print space? As far as I can tell, her only credential is to be the spawn of a serial liar (and possible criminal) and to serve in some unremarkable political appointee jobs in DOS during a time period where DOS was treated as irrelevant (in part because her father was conducting his own foreign policy) Now she runs around, hoping for a terrorist attack and trying to protect torture daddy's craptastic reputation. Again, why am I supposed to listen to her? She didn't have any firsthand experience with this stuff - it was way above her paygrade and it was all kept secret anyway, thanks to Daddy. I fail to see how she's not just a yapper no more qualified than the next person to speak on most of the things she speaks about.

Great thread, and great video. Liz Cheney is definitely a liar, who has proven to not know what she's talking about.
I usually see her as the featured guest on "Morning Joe," where they inexplicably keep her on over extended breaks as the spokesman for modern Republicans. The face-palming of Messrs. Brzezinski & Cheney must be constant during those segments. Something definitely skips a generation.
Why does Joe the Plumber get airtime? Dude is Sarah Palin-esque in his ignorance. Some things are just a mystery.
Liz is just Cheney's attack dog. Not in that she looks like a dog...but because pop took a lot of heat in being the Republican attack dog as it's very unbecoming for a former Veep to criticize the sitting Prez. So he just has his daughter do his dirty work for him.
