Anyone know anywhere i can find a description of the Lithuanian offense they have been using in the Olympics, has a pile of screens (screen the screener) but like the open looks it was getting
huh, that's a tough one. I do know that former UNC star Ed Cota starts for their head coach's club team, Zalgiris. He'd know.....
yeah looks tough to find an exisiting scouting report/description on the web.. maybe Larry B didn't find one either have to get the game and will diagrammise it from there.... get a copy and help us out if you want Sam
Out of curiosity , I emailed the Mavs and Mark Cuban through their website to see if the Nelsons could shed any light on this issue for us, since both Don, Donn, and Donny are former, former & current assistant LNT coaches. We'll see.
thanks Sam, a name would be a great start, it's not like their are that many 'new' offenses out there... it sort of looks like Flex but isn't flex downloading the BT of the game now, so hopefully can get it diagrammised over the weekend if the CNT is interest I'm up for it and very ready to do the job
maybe we can get some info from this sites if you can't reach Nelsons... http://www.eurobasket.com/ltu/ltu.asp http://www.internationalbasketball.com/lithuania.html
tried there.... and was shot down by a bucnh of posters who must like the hair styles of their favourite basketball players rather than paying any attention to their teams offenses
I played Zalgiris about 8 years ago. Don't remember much. On defense I played a guy that ran a lot and they gave him lots of picks near the top of the key. Zalgiris played man to man but they had a 7-3 guy guarding the hoop all the time, I think it was the same guy that plays for their national team now.
no surprise comparing with the situation in GARM, smeg. just curious, why don't you dl those games in Olympics and scout them by yourself. I've posted the BT links before, seems to me, you've no interest in them at all, or you've got em from other sources?
