    Limewire, eh? Hellloooo, zombie computer.

If you're going to steal music, get rid of limewire and use bittorrent.

Someone found your p*rn and hit select all and cut rather than paste. By chance go in your folder and hit paste just incase. Seen it happen before.

Go to tools/preferences(options) and check your download directory.

And yes I download music cause I'm not buying an album that's like Rafer on a bad nite..... 2/15 good tracks.

Just because something is old (in relative terms) doesn't mean it doesn't work. There are lots of files I've found on Limewire that weren't listed on any torrent I could find.

Or here's and idea: why restrict yourself to just one file-sharing program?

I tried using BitTorrent...I don't understand how to work it.

What are some other good P2P programs? Anyone know?

take the 5 minutes and learn it

there are no other p2p programs, not anything on the level of bittorrent

terribad version 'how to use bt':
    1. download a program such as bitcomet (google bitcomet)
    2. install bitcomet
    3. go to websites such as... i s o h u n t . c o m
    4. search for desired media/programs/whatever
    5. download the torrent, open with bitcomet
    6. commence download

best thing is, you rarely have to worry about spyware/adware/etc/etc, all you have to do is look at the seed/leech, seed means the number of people with the complete file that are uploading(i think), leech means the number of people downloading the file(i think)

anyway, make sure once you're done downloading the file, don't just close bitcomet, or stop the torrent, the whole point of p2p is people sharing files, leaving your completed files active will allow other folks to leech off you... and Rockets2K won't yell at you

Hi, I am new here but your post is laughable.

System Restore not only came first, but it comes standard. Your lack of knowledge and then proceeding to call it truth is overwhelming.

Also to clarify a MAC is a PC...because its a PERSONAL COMPUTER. Macs braintrust decided to call it them different so the sheep who flock to Macs for "usability and design" can validate their purchases by saying they are "unique and different". Macs will never be the standard and even a Windows machine with its share of OS problems will always have more use than a Mac running Zebra or whatever animal their OS is named after now.

I-Mesh is actually a pay site now. You can pay like $10 a month and download all you want but you cannot burn them to a CD or play them on a mp3 player due to DRM encryption. I used it and just used a program to make the files unencrypted. After I discovered Oink I ceased using it. :(
