Pardon if everybody knows about this already, but I've been slowly getting the idea that a lot of folks on this BBS like to keep up with news at home and abroad. Google now has a news service that simply uses an algorithm to see how often news stories occur on some 4,000 newswires around the world. The "winners" get put on the top page, so you kind of avoid one-sided editorial choices, be they liberal or conservative. Plus you get a lot of world news that simply won't play in the US of A. Thanks for posting the Google info. I'd been hearing about it during the week, but just now got around to checking it out. I like it a lot better than Yahoo. It has a much better mix of stories (not as US-centric) and a great variety of sources. Good stuff.
