So I was talking to a buddy of mine about video games and how they have trophies/achievements for great accomplishments in a game. Usually you complete it and a box in the top corner of the screen appears with a witty phrase or term signifying you got it. Then I got to thinking about things in real life that would consitute as a trophy. Had a pretty good discussion about it earlier with some friends. Interested in what the good ol' Clutch Fans think would be worthy of a trophy. Here are a couple I thought of...... Those I've earned -Road Warrior - Travel an Interstate Highway from end to end. I've done this with US 5 and only need from Palm Springs to Phoenix to get I-10. I'm gonna have to wait on this one til the politics die down though. -Kiss Me I'm Irish - Celebrate St Paddy's Day in Ireland. -Not Welcome Here - Go see your favorite team play a road game. -Language of Love - Hit on a person in a foreign country in the native tongue. -Two Way Street - Take the back door route when making whoopee. Sorry for the vulgarity, this is what made me think of all this though. -Not Just a Drink - Have sex on the beach. -Break a Leg - Perform on stage in some capacity. -Touch the Bottom - Swim in the open ocean. -Not in Kansas Anymore - Live through a tornado. -Don't Call Me Shirley - Pilot a plane. -Cool Story Bro - See the shuttle enter/exit the atmosphere. Ones I'd like to get -Send a Postcard - Travel to every continent. -Run Forrest Run - Run in a marathon. -Aquaman - Go scuba diving. -Mile High Club - Don't need to explain this one. -Its no Yao - See the Great Wall of China -Two Timer - See two hometown teams from different sports play in the same day. -Better With a Coke - See the Northern Lights. -Maybe Next Year - See the Texans, Rockets, Astros and Dynamo win championships. -Via Con Dios - Skydive. -Pacman Fever - Make it rain at the scripp club. -Legend of the Fall - Fight a Bear With Just a Knife. These are my real life trophies and awards: 1. Pool tournament, first place at the Boy's Club (before it was the Boy's and Girls Club). I think i was 15. 2. Second place at the city wide high school Acting Competition. 3. A red ribbon for a drawing competition at the city community center. 4. A ribbon for J.V. baseball in High School (everyone got one). That's all.
Just to clarify, these are ones that you have right? I gots to get the Playa from the Himalaya one as well. Moes- Thats pretty rough. I don't think I'll be getting that one. Curse you! I've tried damn it. I do have your revised Language of Love one though. I probably also have Double Disaster. Three's Company is one on the wish list for now. Also, can Ice Water Veins be in a tournament of any nature? I've done that in a three on three one.
