Many times I find myself looking for the most efficient ways of doing my day-to-day tasks or finding ways to organize/plan ahead.

    Examples:
I keep an agenda handy to plan out my weeks.
With Mozilla, I have an assortment of bookmark folders. (i.e. 'Sports' : Clutchfans, ESPN, Hoopshype)
Some folks brush their teeth in the shower.
Sometimes I will work out while watching the Rockets game.
Studying/reading when I decide to ride the bus to/from campus.

Share some of the little things that ya'll do to make life easier & more organized.

while we're on the topic, the "pump and dump" could also be an effective time saver. Yank sesh on the pot

Pay all of my bills once a month.
    Live close to work.
When I'm at my desk, two monitors.
First thing in the morning, Austin Powers piss and brush my teeth at the same time.
I try to buy quality stuff with a warranty so it lasts, but if it breaks I don't have to deal with it.
Listen to educational/news podcasts in the car instead of music.
When I do drive, try to do it at non-peak times, or leave in the dead of night on road trips.
When I do work out, only do weight exercises that work several muscles at once.
    Lawnmower with a wider deck.

Ironing - Leave shirts hanging while showering (takes out all the wrinkles)
-Get a haircut while car is being washed across the street.
    -Check Mail once a week
    -Use filters/rules with emails (gmail/outlook)

Standing at the right locations at the subway so the doors will always open directly to me and when I get off the exit is right in front of me.

I'm a 25-30 minute commute from work, but with PM traffic it is 45 or worse.

I workout after work before going home, then by the time I'm done traffic is light. 45 minute or an hour workout but I save myself 20-30 minutes as opposed to driving home in rush hour and then working out.

What sucks is that most gyms are usually packed at those times

ima- being healthier overall is probably one of the best ones. I stopped drinking entirely in 2010. I was a weekend drinker, and since I stopped, my brain works vastly more efficiently. I also feel smarter when I'm eating a good balanced diet with little junk. I sleep better in both situations too.

Another one- my iPad really untethers me. I probably use my laptop 80% less, and it' so convenient to be able to pull up instructions or help with anything I'm doing around my house or in my yard.

Yet another- using good quality pens and pencils can save you a lot of time and grief with ease of use and reliability.

Instead of wasting money on floss, I bite my nails and run them through the cracks of my teeth!

todo list that cloud sync's so as I think of things, I can record them wherever (phone/ipad/web).

Jog w/ kids in stroller (or have older ride bike alongside). Keeps them occupied and I excersize.

Keep grocery list in evernote so my wife and I see the same thing.

#1 time saving thing: Live close to work.
