Adored the UK version, and have seen each episode a half-dozen times. Haven't seen a second of the US version. Not really interested.
It was my favorite new show last year. I didn't watch every episode, but I really like it. It's way better than the concept sounds. To me, it's like Mad Men, except for cops in the 70s, and more mass market.
The British version of the show (the original) is much better than the American.
