where can i find out who's on leno on Monday March 11th?...im going to LA for spring break and got tickets for the show the other day...
King of the Hill Honestly, if someone put some real shows on late night, they would kick butt. I use to watch them, but their format seems stall to me. Is Leno still doing OJ jokes? I found it to be disturbing how murder was trivualized by Leno.
Well I like Leno more simply cuz I really don't watch either once the guests get on and Leno's monologue is longer and funnier. Letterman is definitely funny but the monologue is just too good for Leno. Conan's probably my favorite with guests simply because he goes off on crazy little tangents or does some weird voice and makes fun of himself well.
Leno, by far. The main reason I watch the shows is for the monologue, and Jay's is simply much longer and funnier. Most of my friends prefer Letterman, but everytime I watch him I just don't find his jokes to be that funnier. Plus, Jay has more creative things. The headlines on Monday are hilarious, as is Jaywalking.
LETTERMAN!! he's way funnier than Jaw Boy Jay.... Dave's got this subtle humor... "you like the rock and roll kids?" I don't know... I've just always been a Dave fan.
Letterman by far. The only funny bit Leno does are the headlines...and that's not his material. Leno has TRIED to rip off so many of Dave's bits. Dave has done so many classics bits over the years it's amazine. Leno is a HORRIBLE interviewer. You can catch him reading his note cards between questions. He often doesn't play off of something funny or interesting his guest says because he's already prepared to ask his next question. He also bothers me by the way he tries to be funnier than his guest. He's just lame but being in Hollywood he is able to get good guests. os
They both suck, but if I had to pick one I would go with Letterman for sure. Reasons: Leno is too soft and his sidekick Kevin Eubanks laughs at EVERY damn thing that Jay says. It gets sooooooooo anoying. When Leno interviews, it really slows down the show because he rarely has anything funny to say. Letterman is just a smart ass and he makes me laugh because I like his sense of humor a lot better than Leno's which is more dry. Letterman has a way better sidekick although I think he is a complete tool, he does have a few good one liners and he doesnt kiss ass like Eubanks. And how the hell can you beat the Letterman top 10 list....
I've always liked Letterman better than Leno. Leno has a dark, deeply calculating quality to him that is always transparent to me. I just don't find him funny, especially when I can see exactly where he's coming from and where he's going with every joke. He imitates everything that works with other comics , rather than coming up with anything original on his own. He has no style, no substance, and no interest for me.
Lynus and I usually watch Leno, but he would prefer Sports Center (isn't that when it's on) and I would prefer Letterman, so we compromise. I like Leno alright. He makes me laugh, but I'm not sure he's a real person. He's all rich and stuffy and shows off his cars and thinks he better than people (all my opinion). Letterman seems more like a real guy that you could hang out with. I don't think his monologues are as funny, but the rest of the show is better I think. He just seems more genuine than Leno. Leno has Headlines and Jaywalking is funny sometimes. Letterman has the Top Ten and I've always liked his other bits as well.
I like Leno because he's self -depricating. Anyone here seen that movie the Late Shift? It's very reavealing. I can't hate either guys after seeing that movie.
