Ooooh a battle of wits! :)

I will add a number 9 to yours too!

9.) remember not to visit the GARM after a win!

    lol ;)

Most of the time I love even the craziest comments by posters here, but when you are already down because of a loss its really hard to come in here and hear everyone complaining about how horrible the Rockets are.

Yes it was just one game, yes there was more than just poor shooting that made it look so bad, and yes I hate to see them lose. No, I don't think Yao coming back is the whole answer. No, I don't think there is any excuse for losing to the Celtics (which by the way.. I love the sarcastic ALL CAPS, can't spell post too! LOL) and no I don't think JVG makes all the right decisions.

But I am still going to root for this team, I still think we have a chance to win the whole shebang and I still love to come to the GARM and read what all you crazy guys post.

Okay... I think that's enough now.

    Go Rox!

    Lets...

    1) Expect an energetic, focused, professional effort from the team. If that occurs, accept the results and move on.

    2) Realize that that there will always be mistakes and misjudgements.

    3) Expect the coach to maximize #1 and minimize #2.

    4) Feel free to critique everything within reason.

    5) Wait and see what happens when Yao gets back. (or... it ain't over 'til it's over.)

    6) Expect the media to boycott the locker room after losing to Boston.

    7) Don't make the Rockets the center of life.

    7) :D

Ahahahaha... this is one of the best topics I've seen. I mean you really sum it up well, dude. It's always the same sh*t different day if we lose, and sometimes when we win. It's like people forget what this team has overcome this year and how we are not only one of the best teams in the league but we are... WINNING.

Criticizing is necessary, but some of the comments I hear night in and night out around here while our team is WINNING and looking poised for a good spot in the playoffs and maybe a run... it's unbelieveable.

But no, I'm sure with Rudy Gay and Stromile Swift we'd be .800 right now. What a stupid trade that was. Too bad JVG doesn't coach one of the best (the best?) defensive teams in the league and hasn't held an injury riddled team together for a great winning season thus far... or I'd re-consider wanting to fire him. Hmm...

I think you are right about that, I seem to remember something about that in the past.

Which makes Clutch's comment danged funny.

You bought a new car which turned out to be a lemon; You saw a dentist who pulled out a wrong tooth; You bought a ball game ticket to watch your dream team to overpower the worst team in the league, ended up a heartbreaking loss. What are you going to respond? BASHING.
After each loss, I like to be here. I have no problems with Bashing, as long as you have your reasons, not simply ****.
This team is built as role players surrounding our stars. When the locomotor gets cut, you know what's going to happen to the train. However, bashing on the individules may be beneficial to their growth if they read our posts. ;)
I see less shots from RA, I see temparily rebound from JHo, .... all thank our bashing in the BBS.
Bashing is a part of game. Thats it.

No, I have no idea where KAS13 works. I like and respect KAS13's posts and this doesn't have anything to do with him specifically. It's just the umpteen-millionth post I've seen like this from whomever -- and if you read the board a lot, you know that's true.

Do people want a forum where they can not be critical of the Rockets? I know that's not what KAS13 is saying, but that's what I'm saying to make my point. I'm not defending people who take up the over-the-top arguments that are listed there but rather their right to b**** if they so choose. This board values accountability and credibility, and if you said it here, it stays here -- meaning it's in print and it's not going away. Know what I mean?

If I didn't like how Rafer Alston played last night, I'd like to give my views without being lumped in with a bunch of reactionary FIRE JVG nonsense. I also can't stand the "after every loss" stuff... it's 10 times worse if people complain after a win. "We won - what are you complaining about?!?!"

Yeah clutch, that's why I tried to make a distiniction between criticism and over the top complaining like... constantly calling for JVG/Skip to be released, making the claim that battier is a bust, etc. Everyone's gotta be allowed to say what they want about anything, even if it goes beyond criticism and into whiney or crazy-ness.
