All this pondering about what will result with the Rashard Lewis situation is very tired. I would suggest a "minor" move that would increase the win total this season and just about wrap up the Rockets spectacular summer campaign.
it goes a little sumthin like dis.......

    Houston trades:
    Kenny Thomas (miss you K9)
    Oscar Torres( Venezuela represent)

    Denver trades:
James Posey( practically lives @ Westside)

This move would definitely improve our height and athleticism in the backcourt.

Denver would recieve rebounding and an athletic guard who could help ease the transition of one of their high picks(NeNe Hillario) into the L.

    comments, questions, concerns????

While I would love to have Posey, who is a great defensive player, I think (a) he makes too much; and (b) Denver doesn't need another PF with Juwan Howard, Donnell Harvey, Nikoloz Tskitishvili, and Nene Hilario on board.

    A) he makes nothing
    B) your right about the power forward jam

regardless of how we do it, size in the backcourt would pay big dividends. Also, the Rox obviously have a vested interest in their own power forward position leaving little room for Kenny who is valuable trade bait. One more thing if it were possible to get rid of overpaid Mooch (who slows down the offense considerably), I for one would be all for it.

    the starting 5 is set:
    Wink
    Cat
    Rice
    MoT
    Cato

the backups I would like to see:

    Maddux, TBrown
Posey(or Oscar or some size period)
    Boki
    Griffin, Tmo
    Yao, maybe Bateer

..oh and can we please replace Mr Mean on the bench with Super Mario

I like Posey as a player. However, do you know if the Nuggets are interested in getting rid of him and if so why?

I would love to have Posey on the team. He's very under-rated in my opinion.

Oscar Torres probably wouldn't help Hillario's transition that much. Torres is Venezuelan where the native language is Spanish. Hillario is Brazilian where the native language is Brazilian Portuguese. As I found out a couple of years ago when I traveled to Brazil, understanding and speaking one language doesn't automatically mean you can understand and speak the other.

Still, Posey wouldn't be a bad pick up. Don't know that he is worth 2 players though.
