Okay, the rockets are having an awesome couple weeks, but think about this. We make the playoffs, say 8th seed. So were matched up with the Blazers most likley. Is there any chance of us beating them in a 5 game seris? Im thinking maybe win one or possibly 2, say we get the kings 1 round, I like this Im thinking we could beat them, but look if we do we get the Spurs, Lakers, Blazers next they just keep on coming. Whos to say we will have a healthy dream or a Cato to that matter, there both injury prone and we know that. So making the playoffs and doing nothing in them is dumb, its like going to battle with just a knife, when we could wait a year and go in with tanks, planes, guns. All im saying is why go now when we know we cant win it all. I am the biggest rocket fan in the world I have watched them since I was 10, but I am just thinking lets wait a year, get high draft pick posibly a good free agent and try next year. I know we should not give up the season or anything, but all this talk about us going to playoffs is just messed up. What do you guys think, now keep in mind I am still kind of new here [IMG]

Yeah, let's tank. Let's get another Dan Langhi clone.

We are the elite of lottery teams. There's hardly a chance we'll draft high.

Let's make it to the playoffs!!

when you draft high it dosent mean number one, winner just like top 10. if we dont get a lottery ball our next pick is very low, ya we got all this crap from dallas a the bulls but thats were we get the dan Langhi's and im reminded about an article betwwen us and the Grizzles and how the Grizzles are wanting us to make playoffs so they get our high pick 2 years from now, or something like that. tank you [IMG]

We need to make the play-offs. A taste of the play-offs will do more for this team than they 11th 12th or 13th pic in the draft. Especially when C-Webb looks for a team he can contend with next year outside of Sacremento.

There is a saying in sports: "Succes breeds Succes" simply put the more you win the more likely you are to win.

Ever wonder why some franchises like the Clippers that always draft in the top five never seem to make the play-offs? Last year they had Derrick Anderson, Lamar Odem and Mo Taylor. All three are very good players. Mo is a major contributor and a starter on our team, Derrick is one of the better starting 2's for San Antonio now and everyone knows Lamar is an all star caliber 3. And for some reason they were one of the two worst teams in the league. Thats because as a franchise they have lost so much that they expect to loose.

I would rather have a franchise that expects to win every time that they step onto the floor.

I hope that our team NEVER tanks.

That is the reason i dont like our I-10 rivals, the Spurs.

I think that if we get into the playoffs, we will stretch the series out to 5 games and even possibly advance.
