4 words doesn't really resgister on Clutch quality post counter, how 'bout this:

If you want a sign that the Rockets are moving "high-ah" look for Rudy on the sidelines constantly shouting "kapaya".

Macbeth, your post is pumping me up for upcoming season. Great insight!

i think the biggest suprise rudy will have with his players

is that. he's going to see so many mis matches and take

    advantage of them.

    this is the year...

The moniker says it all ...

    Let's play Rudyball :D

All indications are that there is going to be a fast start to the season for the Rox. i honestly believe that Francis and Mobley are going to mature this year into team players. We have three proven All-Stars (Francis, rice, Mobley), three budding all-Stars in EG, Ming & IMO, Nachbar, & 4 solid, proven players in Cato, MoT, KT, & Mooch.

if Rice stays healthy log enough to gain his shooters' respect, if MoT plays like he did at the end of the season year before last, EG builds on all his experience from last year, Cato puts together two solid(not stellar) years, Ming takes the respect he got in the WC to the team, and KT, Nachbar, Mooch, et al gel together then we've got more offense than what MacBeth highlighted so well.

We've got 12 solid guys who could run/fastbreak the pants off 25 of the teams in the league. We have BIG and small lineups:

    BIG:
    MING/Cato
    MoT/EG
    EG/KT/Nachbar
    Rice
    Mobes

    small:
    MoT
    KT/EG
    Rice
    mobes
    Francis

The 80's teams had a 7-8 man rotation, the 90's had a 9-10 man rotation. We have a 12 man rotation this year if we want to use it. I'm not saying we have to use it, but we have it if we want to run teams into the ground. Some teams we do, like the Lakers, to get Shaq off the floor. Other teams, like the Clippers, could run with us so we implement MacBeth's scheme.

I'm psyched for the season because there is so much upside this year, so much to build on and utilize. Rudy has said before that they have so many plays they could use if they had the right talent/mix and I say this is the year to try and implement the whole book.
