What the hell is wrong with us all? We have the best team website in clutchcity.net (knock on wood).......arguably the quickest and one of the most exciting teams in the NBA. And we just sit here, cheering our players on from a computer screen. Hey, I know a lot of you are supporting the Rockets by going to there games and stuff, and that is great. I'm just telling this to all of the fans out there! YES, this is including even me. Listen to this.......How in the world are we going to let those casual fans in the Compaq Center boo guys like Kelvin Cato. Seriously, us fans are the only ones that know what is really going on with the Rockets and our players. Other fans would just say: "Ya, that number 13 was really bad last season, I want Hakeem back" Fudge them! This is the beginning of a new era!! We have had lousy home attendance so far- below 10,000. Guess what? I know why.......it's because of Hakeem's departure that those "Rocket" fans don't want to support. Wait a minute, those aren't Rocket fans, they are "Dream's" fans!!! This is our Rockets, and we are going to love them as much as possible no matter who leaves (Olajuwon). I say right now, post the number of Rocket games that you are planning to go to. Right NOW! Right now, I'm thinking about 4 games.......hopefully there are others who feel the same way as I do. Maybe us CC.net fans can hook up at the Compag Center one game......We will choose a certain section and by a lot of tickets there. That will be our Clutchcity.net zone. That will be the loudest place in the arena!! Now come on people how many games are you going to and against who?
For the most part, a large majority of posters on this BBS are season ticket holders or go to a fair number of games, at least in comparison to the rest of the public. I plan on going to every Rockets home game from the end of December till the end of the season. Last year the BBS went to the last game of the season as a group. I'm sure Jeff or Clutch or the like are already planning something this year.
Serious question. How come the Comets fans dont show up and fill the rockets games. They are the loudest fans in Houston.
