The only person in the NBA that you couldn't get with Garnett would be Shaq. Mayb Duncan, too. But both of those are iffy, too. If you're saying we shouldn't trade Cat or Francis for Garnett, then you're thinking with your heart. I'd trade Francis for Garnett straight up. Um, there's one thing I don't get with this. These players have been with us for a total of 4 years, and you refuse to trade them. However, you don't mention Hakeem Olajuwon? FrancisFan, you too. I think that you should mention Hakeem's name first. In fact, it's the only name that should be mentioned in the first place, which is why I said that Dream had to agree with the trade. The recent developments have sure made the trade more acceptable in my eyes. Anyway, I admire your loyalty for both these players, but I have to admit that I haven't grown to be attached to them that much just yet. I would give both up in a second under the proposed scenarios. DoD, Did you read the column? im loyal to rockets players, but if its cat/shandon for KG i'd do it in second. if it was franchise for KG i'd do it in about 30 seconds lol. KG is right now one of the best players in the NBA. but i wouldnt trade stevie for shaq, i prefer keeping my marquee players in at the end of games. The only deal minne would pull a trigger on would be something like cato, franchise, cat, anderson, dream(salaries) for KG, wally, peeler, avery. which i definitely would not do. That is why in video games i usually dont pick rockets because i wont ever want to trade them.

When I said I would never trade them it wasn't my just loyalty to the teams players, I like them as individuals and want them on Houston. That is partially the same reason I've always stated to keep KT, the Wizard and the Catomic Bomb.
