Yeah Mike James is definitely better(and safer) in small doses. Rafer is our best option at pg so far thats been given a chance

i do a trade for artest, i trade him for anyone outside Yao, tmac, battier, bonzi, SF3, hayes, scola and our rookies.

    Rafer/james + synder/head match salaries.

First, why would CLE trade a certified starter for players that arguably wouldn't start for them? (I like Mike James but not sure he has more value to the Cavs than Daniel Gibson right now).

Secondly, where are you going to play Hughes? You're surely not going to bring in a Max player to be 6th man are you? If the improbable became the possible, than you have to start Hughes and bring Battier off the bench. Which totally negates Battier's value since "intangible" (if they exist) IMO only increase with playing time.

If CLE wants some guards, tell 'em to send an under the BYC Varejao. :D

And this is why I'd be more inclined to trade for Bibby rather than Artest. I think the Rockets are fine with Battier at SF, given what they basically ask him to do. I just think that Mike James and Mike Bibby are likely to give the Rox the type of PG duo that Adelman employed so successfully in Sactown (Bibby and Bobby Jackson).

Oh man! You do not want Artest, his defense is overrated, and he'll mess up the little chemistry the rox have-- might I add that his defense is overrated as well?

    Battier>Artest(the chucker)

I think I was the first one in this forum to suggest Rockects should go for Ron Ron. But I trade him for anyone + draft picks outside our current starters. Don't trade Rafer Alston unless Rockets get back another pure point guard.

Artest would definitely help our team win games. We should not trade Battier though because Battier gives you his all day in day out and Ron is a head case who can be a liability for a team.

I would definitely like it if we could give Mike james + Head/Brooks + Snyder

I have wanted the Rockets to get Maggette for a very long time, but that won't solve the PG problem.

scratch that, let's get Damon Stoudemire!

I thought we're bringing old, dead ideas that just won't go away. Sorry all.

If anything, he's been forgotten, not overrated in any aspect of his game. Best perimeter defender? "Bruce Bowen", "Kobe!", "Prince" ...lol...

Oh, and Artest>>>Battier and if I had a chance to trade them straight up (because of Artest's overblown legal troubles) I'd do it in a heartbeat.

i will take ron ron if kings willing to consider.

I would offer anyone beside Yao, Tmac, and Scola.

I doubt Kings would want MJ, SF, or bonzi.

    Most likely:
alston, head, hayes, Battier, or kirk.

    I would offer:
Alston, kirk, head for ron ron,
    or
Alston, kirk and battier for ron ron plus 1 round.

Ron ron is good, but he is also a psycho. I am quite happy with the PF spot even they play poorly the last couple games. PG spot is our only immediate problem.
