    the guy's obviously tired.

we're basically in the playoffs and if our goal this year is to win a championship, we're better off with a healthy t-mac, business aside.

I was in this camp only to reduce the chance of injury but frankly I wish they would rest Yao over TMAc because Yao has much higher chance of injury.

At this point though TMAC needs to suck it up cause he has had plenty of rest and needs to return the favor to Artest and Yao.

everyone is tired. the rockets have played in 10 back to backs. resting tmac when he is healthy is wrong. he needs to fight the fatigue like everyone else. And no we are not basically in the playoffs. the ninth seed doesn't make the playoffs and we are just a couple of games away from that.

Where do you get that from? This is a long NBA season and anything can happen, as of right now we are not a sure thing for a playoff spot.

I don't think reasting Tracy will do any good becasue when he comes back he will play the same. Right now its all up to Tracy I think its all in his head more than it is his knee. We can only hope he gets his act together and start to play well so we can be a great team becasue we need him to get that ring.

how 'bout letting yao, ron and battier all rest for a month or 2? they seem to be in more dire needs. oh i forgot, mcgrady along with many of his fans are more fragile. lol.

Does anyone honestly still believe Tmac can somehow come back to 100% someday? I really don't.

The race is so tight in the West I have no clue why people think we have a playoff spot locked up.

Players don't have the option to play unless the doctors have cleared them to play. T-MAC IS CLEARED TO PLAY. It's not an issue of rest.

Let Yao rest. What, is T-Mac waiting for Yao to go down so he can come and save the day? Give Yao a rest, and Artest. T-Mac should be fourth in line after

    1. Artest
    2. Yao
    3. Battier

I laugh about the same thing all the time. Some people think the rockets can just throw away games like their a lock to make the playoffs. This team has lossed to the Grizzlies, Pacers, Clippers and a depleted Spurs team.

I worry that even if we let him rest and we make the playoffs, that this issue will not truly be taken care of and he has to take games off DURING the playoffs! That would seriously push the TMAC hatred on this board into overdrive!

McGrady will have plenty of time to rest when he retires, i.e. next season.

You don't get better by not playing and you don't get mentally stronger by not challenging yourself. This team needs an assassin in the playoffs. How mentally prepared do you think Tmac will be if he takes half the season off? How do you think that would affect team chemistry?

How do you feel about the guy at work that gets paid 4x what you do and only works half as hard when he is there and only shows up 2 days a week?

If he really is hurt, I agree. But if he is just dogging it because of personal problems (I know it is just a rumor, but...), I say get over it and get out there and play.

Exactly we have lost so many games that people predicted to be easy wins. I want everyone playing if they are healthy enough to play.

Also the biggest key is this team needs to develop it's chemistry on the court. This team can't be taken serious if it doesn't develop any chemistry.
