If somebody sues a 13-year-old child for like one million dollars, but he or she doesn't have a million dollars, but his or her parents do, then are the parents sued instead? Does that make sense?

AFAIK, parents are responsible for their minor children...financially and otherwise.

It depends on the situation guys, if the kid signed a contract for $1 million dollars to be paid for something, the parents won't be responsible. If the kid vandalised something it might be different.

    Need more info.
