My understanding of it was that he went AFK while eating and then came back during the planning. Ran in, caused the whole thing, then said "least I have chicken" when everyone's b****ing at him.
And if you didn't already know, they set the whole thing up. The point of the video is to make fun of people who take MMORPGs too seriously and treat it like a job instead of a game.
