what u guys think about him. If I remember right, he did score a last second score on us one game last year in Houston.
he's a good multifaceted player who can score in bunches. he did the hornets (and my fantashy league team) real good service last year when mashburn was out. however, i remember hearing he's got a discipline and/or drug problem. wasn't there a mar1juana problem that hurt his draft selection a couple of years back? need to verify that though... the fact of the matter is, we're really well-stocked up front, while hornets are not. what makes anyone think that we'd want him any more than the hornets?
They heard Matt Bullard was good to go another season and got rid of Nailon since Bullard will be getting 40mpg. BTW, I'm kidding. Matt will get 48mpg.
Isnt Lee Nailon a power forward? He's a good player but we dont need him. He was one of the best players in the country at TCU.
Yea, I think he's a 4, and what's the use of getting him on our team? We already have MoT, KT, and EG playing that spot. We don't need another banger underneath.
i remember lee nailon. he was a scoring threat at tcu. id take lee nailon over that over weight maurice taylor any day. the rockets need to definately pick him up if they had a chance!!!! (even though he was a much better player at tcu than he is now.)
JUST STOP IT!!! we do not need ANYTHING at this point. we just need to settle on a good rotation, and then play. damn! i hate you people... sheesh..... man.... lee nailon, pssshht!
yeah nailon would have plenty of PT at sf here why should we pick him up? rice, kt, and boki will be splitting 48 minutes as it is.
SCOTT EYES EX-HORNET NAILON By MARC BERMAN October 24, 2002 -- Knick GM Scott Layden is seriously considering claiming the released Hornet small forward Lee Nailon off the waiver wire, according to sources. And the Knicks will have first crack at claiming the athletic, up-and-coming Nailon because of their recently granted $4.5 million injury exception. If Layden today claims the 6-foot-9 Nailon, who started 41 games last season, it would put the Knicks in better position to trade Latrell Sprewell. Because Nailon makes more than the minimum at $1 million with bonuses, only five teams will be eligible to claim Nailon off the waiver wire. The teams include the Knicks, Bucks, Toronto, Portland and Orlando. Layden will be first in line because the Knicks had the worst record of the five. Only a team under the cap or with a trade or injury exception can claim Nailon's salary.
Lee Nailon played great for Charlotte last year, filling in for Mashburn. But I would be more interested in trading for Theo Ratliff than Lee Nailon. Can you imagine the blocks that Yao Ming, Eddie Griffin, and Theo Ratliff would get if they were on one team? Wow. Of course, I'm dreaming. Lee Nailon, on second thought, nah... Theo Ratliff , yes ....right away
If KT isn't available for the start of the we will need a 4 for a bit. Remember, if KT is hurt we're playing without Mo for the first 5 games. So basically we're playing with 3 big men. Sign him to a 10 day contract if possible.
