I think Kobe's shots look more intentional. Both of Kobe's jumpers were more vertical. Lebron was moving sideways during his shot, and might have extended his arm to keep his balance when he landed. Of course, we'll never know if it was really intentional.

I wasn't watching when the play happened and never heard about it until yesterday. If the commentators made a big deal about it like they did the Nash-Horry foul they would have done something. Long as enough ppl arent' talking about it they can turn a blind eye.

the funny thing is absolutely no one was talking about the first kobe elbow on ginobili. there wasn't even a thought that the suspension might be coming when it happened.

and while i don't think either meant to hit anyone, lebron's looked more intentional b/c it looked half-controlled. on both of kobe's, he got blocked and then just indiscriminately flailed his arms to try to draw a call and ended up clocking someone. lebron pretty much just throws an elbow (as he arm is still bent at the elbow) right out to his side. not nearly as much flailing.

and like i said, i don't think either meant to hit anyone and don't think they should've been suspended any of the 3 times. although after the second one by kobe at least, the nba probably did have to do something, b/c even if unintentional, they still ended up being pretty serious shots to the face. but still didn't see a need for a suspension yet.

Lebron was given a flagrent 2 for this by the league after they reviewed it.

I imagine if he does it again then he will get suspended.
