Who would you draft 1st? If you had a choice of Lebron or Yao to start a team?

We have seen Yao for 2+ yrs now and Lebron for 1 yr and what he's doing this yr.

If we're talking strictly basketball, the ONLY thing Yao has going for him is the 7'6" angle (at least, playing under JVG)...but I can bring in Shawn Bradley for that.

If we're talking about business...MAYBE Yao because ofthe China market, but judging by some of the Chinese posters on the BBS turning on Yao as well...I'd still stick with LeBron.

LeBron. Nothing against Yao, so don't think I'm jumping on the "bash Yao" bandwagon, but LeBron's younger, he can play 4 positions (he's Malone's size, so I'm sure he can play the 4), and he's already shown he can be a floor general and take charge of games.

Lebron can play 3 positions, yao can play 1, and some nights he can barely play that position. I doubt earl boykins will ever block lebron.. but i could see earl sending a Yao drive out in the stands one day. Yao, i love you, i just hate the system you were put in. I don't hate the playa I hate the game.

As an objective fan who doesn't root for the Cavs or Rockets, I can't imagine Yao accumulated ANY votes.

Lebron is just better in every facet of the game, younger, more explosive, he's the total package. Yao is an above-average C.

This shouldn't even be an issue; LeBron goes onward and upward and seems destined for greatness, if he isn't already. Yao seems to have plateaued, and not where we want him to be.:(

I'd imagine there's not a GM in the league that wouldn't take LeBron over Yao.
