Didn't see any threads about this in the GARM or the Dish.

Anyways, I'm planning on getting league pass for the first time this season, but I don't want to end up getting it and have half the games blacked out. I was going to get the broadband version if that makes any difference. Oh, and I'm living in Austin. Anyone have any experience with broadband league pass in Austin to know how many games I'll actually end up being able to watch?

I'd like to know this as well. How would blackouts affect Austin.

Not sure overall, but besides Blackouts, you won't be able to watch games that are broadcasted on National TV including ABC/TNT. For some reason, they also don't show games that are shown on NBATV, which is ironic since NBATV and NBA League pass just show the regional network channels broadcast. NBATV also comes with NBA League Pass for the television package.

Thanks for the info. I don't think we're gonna have many Rockets games on national tv/nbatv this year, right?

You get to watch every game, except for those on NBAtv, or Spurs games that are broadcast/on cable here in Austin. I also take NBAtv (which ticks me off, but it's cheap and has classic games, which I frequently enjoy), and I manage to watch every game. I've been doing this for years. I just wish it was cheaper. It should be, and NBAtv should be free if you have LP, but that's another thread, I guess.

I hope that's helpful for fellow Austin fans of the Rocks.

Yes, although that could change depending if ESPN/TNT wants to pick up those games instead, but as of right now there's only 6 games that are scheduled to be shown on NBATV or ESPN. No TNT right now. However, since those games are actually listed to be shown on CSN Houston, they might show that on NBA League pass. But since someone already stated that Spurs games are shown in Austin, then you should be able to watch the majority of Rockets games.

I've got the broadband 5 team package. Anyone know how to choose my 5 teams?
