McCLELLAN: Well, Bill, I don't think it's appropriate for the White House to discuss any specific criminal case. However, I'm more than happy to talk to you about this administration's commitment to cracking down on wrongdoing. One of the President's top priorities is to crack down on corporate wrongdoing and strengthen corporate accountability. And we have a record of accomplishment in that area. This President has worked to go after those wrongdoers and directed his administration to pursue those who are dishonest in the boardroom. BUSH VS. KERRY in the "WHO GOT MO' MONEY FROM WHO?" battle of the century. No matter who wins, the donors win. Bush and Kerry are both taking bribes. One may be worse than the other, but that doesn't negate the fact that they are each taking huge wads of cash from companies that are trying to buy a dominant voice in national policies, to the detriment of the rest of us. These companies don't became massive by making investments that don't pay off. The liberal vs. conservative, democrat vs. republican (or whatever) conflict is rather meaningless (in this context, at least) when it only amounts to debating which candidate accepts the more controversial bribes.

Actually, screw it, I can believe, I would expect nothing lesss from this crew and their preferred MO --"The president never technically said the words "imminent danger", he just said urgent peril" , etc etc etc. -- of using semantics, technicalities, half truths, and willful blindness to cover for what are simply described as "lies".
