I was out cutting my grass just 10 minutes ago. I came back in because it was really windy, and the clouds were getting really dark.

That is not the story though.

I had some grass caught in the blade, and the side of the mower.

When that happens, It is really hard to pull the cord thing.

So guess what I did with the cord. I ****ing snap the thing. The pull plug thing snapped off. I jerked it too hard.

Has this happen to anybody before?

I have a Sears Craftsman thing. I forgot the model name, and number, but I still have the manual somewhere.

Does anybody know jack about Sears warranty, and all that crap, and repairs?
About how much will this cost me?

They do repairs for their lawn mowers and crap, right?

I'm going to take it to the Willowbrook Sears Tommorow.

They should do repairs. It wouldn't hurt to call and ask them first before you drag your lawn mower all the way over there though.

I know Craftsman tools come with a lifetime warranty, and as far as I know, its a rock-solid warranty of the "no questions asked" variety.

That said, I don't know what the warranty is like for a lawn mower, but I don't see why it'd be any different. Give Sears a call, would be my suggestion.

Go here and get one of those... then charge your buds like $5 each to watch the thing mow.

It happened to me before and what was worse that all 6-4 of me went ass over teakettle at my grandparent's place! My grandmother couldn't stop laughing. And some of the neighbors saw it as well and joined in the laughter. My grandmother later told me, "If only I had a video camera, it could've gone on Funniest Home Videos."

That's one of the biggest pains in the ass to fix for a do-it-yourself'er. It's happened to just about everyone who has mowed enough lawns.....I've probably had it happen a dozen time to me.

Its a pain in the ass, only because its time consuming, yet, not really that hard to do. If I were Kam, I would fix it myself and save the minimum $50 it will cost him to have it fixed.

As long as Kam has some screw drivers and allen wrenches, it will be A-OK! :)

The pull thing broke off, the string is all fine.

See if you can find a wooden handle with a hole in it at a h/w store. Knot the string through the hole and you are now able to pull. That should cost about $2.00 and take about 5 minutes.
