1. I can't believe what I just heard from GW Bush. He said that he wasn't going to engage in the negative politics of tearing down the other parties platform. WHAT!! Isn't that what you're supposed to do in a campaign? Discuss the issues? Then, of course, he goes on to criticize Gore's tax cut plan, his prescription drug plan. I guess he doesn't understand what a platform is. 2. A Milwaukee TV station is reporting that they saw Gore campaigners driving homeless people to vote, and then giving them cigarrettes. This is very distressing if it is true. 3. The Senate race in Missouri is in a dead heat. However, the Republicans have stated that they will challenge the appointment of the widow in court. 4. However you feel, tomorrow night should be very exciting. If it stays close until the West Coast, we may not know the outcome until up to a week or so because of absentee ballots. Whatever you do, if you watch any coverage of the election after or during the Rockets, watch The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. By far the most astute political commentators! I just want to thank everyone who's participated in these political debates, good and bad. Politics isn't something that most people take lightly, so you have to expect some rough arguments. But come Thursday and witness TheFreak, Clutch and myself and realize that it is just politics, and nothing more.
