Not sure if this has been posted yet but I thought it was funny.

    Rockets summary

    Happy Langhi

Former Rockets second-round pick Dan Langhi got the word that his friend and now fellow small forward Kenny Thomas was skipping Thursday's game against the Suns and could come to only one conclusion:

"He doesn't want to go against me."

Thomas enjoyed the accusation, though it took Langhi's move to the Suns when the Rockets did not offer a contract for this season. But Langhi said the move has been good for him.

"It's going pretty good," Langhi said. "I've been playing pretty well. We run almost a triangle offense. There's a lot of cutting. Not much is stagnant. Nobody is standing around. Everybody is moving. Anybody can make a play in this offense. Everybody is involved so it's a lot harder to defend. You get shots off cuts, off pick-and-rolls. That's the type of player I am. It fits what I do.

"I'm keeping my house in Houston and I'm going to be there in the summers. It's a business. We both thought it would work. It just didn't work out. Everybody is still on good terms. We just didn't fit."

Actually Langhi has been pretty cool about it, he hasn't trashed the Rockets or anybody, he even said it was just business and that he didn't fit with the Rockets. The trash talking with KT was good humored fun with a friend.

Yeah, I think what Langhi said was harmless, although what he was saying about the Phoenix offense was an indirect hit at the Rockets' offense. But what he said was true, so you can't really blame him.

I never said it was mean spirited smack talking. I just thought it was funny that he would say that to the press especially when he was pretty much a scrub when he was here.

And yet another NBA player makes Houston his home!

No wonder local HS BBall is getting better and better each year.

I'm with HOOP-T, he's a bitter old man that makes jokes to cover up his bitter bitterness. Also, the occasional bitter beer helps to cover up his bitterness.

man, Danny boy, that was soooo not a Triangle Offense. That was what Argentina played.

There are no weaving handoffs in the Triangle offense.

    what an idiot!!

Obviously, he is working on his cover letter for his resume.

Remind us all of how many college, or NBA practices or games you've played in Heyp. Or how many practices? How about how many offensive game plans you are associated with?

Someone remind me who's bitter here?

I'll consider Langhi and Nba ball player when he averages 8 minutes a game.

    HP,

    He said ALMOST a TRIANGLE....sheesh !!!

Langhi can play, he just did not fit in with the Houston team, he needs to touch the ball to be successful, and that was not going to happen in H-Town.

    Good luck Dan !!

Dan has never got a chance in the Rockets system. He has skills but not the playing time. Something is wrong when someone like TMo got more total minutes (1110 minutes) in his rookie year than Dan got in two years with the Rockets(675 minutes), with comparable stats. May I say, Rudy doesn't like Dan?

I remember that Dan's agent requested a trade after his rookie season. I think Langhi was in the doghouse ever since.
