Hes been wreaking havoc and a nightmare for opposing teams so far .... How could this be when we almost beat the Lakers and losing badly to the Warriors with hot Monta, Curry and DLee? The only difference today, David Lee did not suit up ..... hmm wonder if he makes all the differences ..
That's because your logic fails. We lost to the Lakers by two. Lakers routing the Warriors by thirty. Rockets lost to the Warriors by like 12-14. There is no correlation between ANY of these games. There are just too many factors to use this type of logic. And besides, RoxSquad just answered your question. Ellis sucked therefore they lose.
I almost NEVER watch Lakers vs. Warriors (and Lakers vs. Kings). It just seems like destiny the Lakers will win. Without David Lee, I figured the game would be a non-interesting blowout. For that matter, it probably would have been a blowout if the Warriors were at full strength.

Its not just luck. Compare Kobe Bryant's D to Kevin Martin, Artest/Odom to old man Battier and you have the reason why Monte scores 35 pts on us and 5 pts on them. Also PJ is a master strategist and knows who sit and who to play at exactly the right time.

Gasol is snacking on an incredibly weak frontcourt in GS. They don't even have Lee, who doesn't know what defense is anyway. That's why the Lakers won by so big. And Ellis sucked.
