I found this one pretty funny:

-"who the hell are these bench warmers scoring on the Lakers? Anderson? Budinger?? Come on"

It used to be Alston. We'll need to break a new one in this year. So many new faces.

I should have read this before replying the first time. Yep, Battier.

Seriously? Seriously?!?!?! Kobe could drop 100 on Battier, and all you would hear from most of the people on this board is "Well, Shane did his job. He played great D as always, Kobe just hit his shots. If anybody else was guarding him, like Artest for example, he would have dropped 200."

There might not be another player in the NBA who gets more credit when his team does well, and less blame when his team doesn't do well.

    yes seriously

Seriously seriously?!??! Every game, win or loss, there is a new Battier thread about how terrible he is. All you hear is "ZOMG Battier only has 4 points, if we had Gay we have ring LULZ"

You have serious misconception about what defense is and how it works.

Seriously? I contend that you'd hear the opposite just as much. (See: Battier's +/- in the Lakers game thread).

One of the better pic. You can have her, Vujachick. You can suck even more on the court.

Whenever Artest guards Kobe (last year) he riled Kobe up and we lost.
Whenever Shane guards Kobe he plays hand to the face defense and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Whenever Ariza (this year) guards Kobe. Kobe gets owned. New defensive stopper please?

After watching R2K's highlights, Laker's fans have every right to be pissed. The Lakers were half-assing it out there, really slow on their defensive rotations - and that's if they didn't blow an assignment.

In the 3rd quarter, Aaron Brooks gets an and-1 on Derek Fisher. The next play, Fisher fouls him on a trey for a 4-point play. Then AB nails a 26 footer right in Fisher's face. So what does Fisher do? 30 seconds later, when Scola is posting up, Fisher DOUBLES OFF OF BROOKS, who promptly hits another 3-pointer. Fisher doesn't even try to recover to contest the shot. This 3 minute stretch sealed the game right there.

I caught part of the game on League Pass last night, and even the Laker's commentators were upset with the effort. The crowd booing was an added bonus

I feel the same way, Battier is simply too low to be a good on ball defender. I do give him credit for other things though.

Yao's career is over. Gasol and T-Mac will continue to play.

I don't know why I said that. I guess I'm just looking for a fight.
