Kobe doesn't want Yao. And that's the only thing that matters.

I bet a couple of more years of being a mediocre team Kobe will be all for getting Yao. Plus, Yao doesn't have a ego that would clash with Kobe's. It would be a perfect match. Not likely to happen though.

Do you think Yao and Mo are good friends? I don't recall Mo passing to Yao that often... ;)

I think Kobe would love to play with a non-demanding big man like Yao....

Fortunately, therapist wont get his wish...

That was pretty funny. One guy wouldn't trade Yao for Lamar Odom. Another said Amare is a young Shaq. Freaking hilarious!

    :D

    Saw that.

One also suggested that they get Yao for less than max.

lol. We are not the only dreamers in the NBA.

The Lakers fans are definitely very creative in their salary cap ideas to make room for Yao. Good laughs. :D

He will in a couple years when he realizes he cant do it alone. Plus he knows Yao wont fight back in the media like Shaq did. Rudy is there and the JVG act might wear on him soon. Dont be so sure about that....

Kobe has the largest ego in the NBA. Getting someone like Yao or Amare (if that was possible) would be the same as admitting that he's not good enough to carry a team. No matter how mediocre the Lakers are, he'll never admit to that - not now, not 3 years from now, not 10 years from now. never.

I mean the guy won't even let Odom play in the low-post because he's afraid odom will rival his dominance on the team.

Not that it's of any consequence to everyone who thinks Yao is leaving Houston, but there's something in the works (not from the Rockets) that will at least make it a lot less likely that Yao . . . and his parents will leave the Houston area anytime soon.

It'll probably be public by Feb or March - and it doesn't guarentee Yao staying, but like I said, it makes it a much bigger bother for him and his family to leave.

I don't - however - know what the impact of trading Boki will be on him.

Please do us a favor and post in Spurs board and Wolves board that rox fans want Duncan and KG. Personally I wont mind to have Dalemrbert and Chandler. I read many posters like Amare, Lebron and Wade. Yeah, Ray Allen and Lewis would be nice with T=mac and Yao. So thanks in advance for your effort to post our thoughts on so many other forums.
