I haven't watched MTV in 25 years. I also shouldn't have called gaga a B level singer. In truth, she's a C level singer. Want proof? What's sad is that you've probably never even heard of these two singers, because there's no way that you'd like gaga if you had been exposed to real talent. .
If Gaga is, historically speaking, a C level singer, that means every female pop star of the last 15 years has earned a fat, fat F. Karen Carpenter would never get a record deal in 2010. I'm fine with that grading system, as long as Spears and Xtina et alia get F's or F-'s. I'm happy there's a pop star who doesn't look more or less like every other pop star. And she's crazy all the way to the bank. This thread and her Yankee's stunt all underline this.
Does it really matter that she looks so different than other pop stars? People are to infatuated with image these days. I don't think her wacky looks make up for her ridiculous songs about disco sticks and cellphone reception. Not much substance in her radio hits. I also seen her in interviews and she just comes off as so fake to me. Lots of young girls are fans of her and I think she sends out the wrong message.
All I gotta say about Gaga is that she's an ugly girl who has become a pop icon, and that is damn impressive no matter how you look at it. I can't name another unattractive female who has rose to such a level of popularity. Don't have to like her music or style but I respect the hustle.

great video most of you are just talking out of your ass but if you take the time to look and listen to her you'll notice she's tremendously talented and stands out in todays music since her talent is real and not something produced by auto tune or ghost writers. she is also decent looking, above average at the very least in the looks department. and her demeanor is all natural, she doesn't shock to w**** for attention, she does it because it's in her nature. she never sold out or something, she was just noticed.
i may agree with some of what you say, but even the biggest gaga fan would think the above is a silly statement.
