Vinny D is a TERRIBLE coach

Look at his Bulls coaching days... 41-41 in back to back years with D-Rose.... SMH

Vinny D is hurting CP3's game

Mike Woodson is a competent head coach.

Who on the Clippers bench can step in as a head coach?

If the team has quit on Vinny, they must fired him and move on. Similar situation to the Blazers and Knicks but the Knicks anticipated it by hiring Woodson in the off-season.

The only assistant on the Clippers I know is Marc Iavaroni. He's not good.

Bill Simmons has been pushing for Chauncey to step in as coach. It'd be intriguing to say the least.

Iavaroni had the same rep as Thibs before he got the Grizzlies HC job. He has the same coaching personality as Thibs too, ie yells at everything.

Chauncey could get the best out of them if they let Vinny go right now. Would be interesting.

However, the Clips have been overrated for most of the season. Their two bigs, while athletic, are not very bright. Both of them foul way too much, then they have to play tentative or sit the bench. I expect them to lose in the first round.

fits in with Sterlings MO - he is paying Billups anyway may as well make him work for it instead of paying a different person to be head coach.

i was honestly surprised they kept VDN the guy is as mediocre/terrible as they come as a coach and give him the team that he had -- i mean look at what he did in chicago and what Thibs did after him.

Nate McMillian would be a great no nonsense coach for this team imagine all the flopping out there he'd probably bench his own players for flopping.

Maybe they can get Clipper Darrell to coach? The players seem to like him.

But unlike Thibs, Iavaroni was a complete bust in his first head coaching job.

I agree, but it wouldn't really help to bring him in right now. He needs a full training camp and season to instill his approach on the team.

I really think some players are purposely dogging it, seeing how it worked out for Melo in New York. The Clippers should put out a statement that VDG is the head coach the rest of the way so that the players realize its on them to make it work with him. Then replace him with Nate or whoever after the season.
