I, state your name.... (I, state your name) do hereby pledge alligence to the Rockets. With liberty and playing time for all. Amen.
i dont know why is till watch the rockets, they always blow big wins with only few secs to go, i doubt battier will be there to bail them out next time. I promised myself when they started floundering towards the end like charles barkely in a las vegas casino, that i would never watch them if they lose, i guess good thing they won.
I'll take a win on the road against a Western Conference foe any day, especially in the beginning before we have gotten used to our offense and have a set rotation.
Agreed. We played the freakin' Lakers and barley won. Sure they shot 40% but look at their roster! Kobe drove in the paint with ease for either a foul, score and TO. We got lucky this game but it's still early so they get a free pass until they learn the new offense. Let's wait to see their defense against a team that has more than one guy shooting the ball.
We had trouble containing Kobe, but so does....well, every other team in the league (besides Phoenix). Kobe was 3 points away from scoring half the teams points. Fisher was the only other player with double figures. Kobe basically almost won the game by himself. He's going to get his. I thought our defense was ok, aside from the flukey run by the lakers in the last minute. We did hold them to under 100 points, which is pretty good.
Where have you been the last few years? No matter who is playing, the Rockets and Lakers have had crazy games like this for a couple seasons now. I'm just glad we won. Last year we were up by 4 with a few seconds left, and they made one free-throw, missed the second, Kobe got the rebound, and then hit a three to force OT. All with homecourt on the line. This game was a cakewalk compared to that.
