Jeff Van Gundy's defense lives on alongside Rick Adelman's offense.

Rafer Alston dishes to Mike James.

Yao Ming goes outside, goes inside.

    Shane Battier creates and scores.

Our most vilified defender pokes the ball away at the end.

We blow it, we win it.

    Kumbaya.

For stretches at the beginning and end it looked a lot more like JVG's offense mixed with Adelman's defense.

The best part is that we won because they scored on their own hoop. If this was soccer, Luke Walton wouldn't be alive right now.

Wow, OMR being optimistic and chiding a negative comment? Kumbaya indeed.

From the Rocket's point of view, I didn't see anything which looked like what Coach 'A' had described as his game plan, although I did see Yao Ming floundering on the outside far too many times! I saw too many shots being taken when the player created his own shot instead of him getting the ball passed to him because he was either ready for an open shot or going towards an open basket. The Rockets looked out of sink and with poor chemistry most of the game. For all of this which can be improved on,the rockets lead the Southwest Div. Utah here we come.I hope Scola plays defence on Boozer.
PS I stiil think that Scola woud be better starting with Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady! :p

Sorry to dim your enthusiasm.... but Scola couldn't even guard Ronny Turiaf or Chris Mihm tonight, how do you expect him to guard Boozer?

He looked lost, couldn't stop fouling, and didn't do anything today. Hopefully he can improve soon, otherwise we'll need more PF help.

    Better observation: we won.

Boy our bench is deep. Francis, head, scola, did nothing for us tonight and we still won.
