The appears the Rockets are going to have to make a huge decision next offseason in what they are going to do with KT and MoT. It's obvious that they cannot keep both players next year with EG and Tmo probably getting most of the backup minutes at the forward positions next year. So who should get traded?

I used to think KT was a career backup player but he has really impressed me this season with his play. He gives the rockets more rebounds and better moves to the basket. And is cheaper.

MoT gives you a better outside shot.

Defensively I think they are equals. From just a player standpoint I would rather the Rockets keep KT because he gives the rockets more of what they need in terms of rebounding and driving ability, but this will probably come down to contracts and the fact is that the rockets could not get as much for MoT as they could get for KT.

KTs little mid range jumper has been deadly this year. It has been much more streaky in his previous two seasons. I believe KT is a better 3 pt shooter than Mo. Mo's strength last season was his ability to start the game smoking hot and getting the Rockets off to a good start. If KT keeps up his exellent mid range shooting then the Rockets have a tough choice indeed.

imo, there is no choice at all. You keep all of them. If you are not going to have a center worth crap, you need extra power forwards. This is not a game of 3 guys filling one spot. Do you really see Rudy afraid of playing 2 PFs together...no!

We need all three, unless a trade for a quality center presents itself....and I don't see that happening.

Plus, looks like KT can play the 3 as well, not to mention Mo' and Griffin can, too. They all can shoot.

What is so wrong with SF, CM starting with all three PFs? Absolutely nothing in my mind.

I think I'm finally getting sold on this multiple pfs between the 4/5 spot. There's only one freak of nature at the Center spot now, so you may as well make every other team in the NBA play to you.

If Kelvin's untradeable... then of course we'll all take a moody overpaid healthy Cato (since it's better than the one other alternative he poses: injured). But... if there's a chance in hell of trading him for a gallon of nad sweat, imo, you have to do it.

New York's sucking it up now. The Wizards would trade Jahidi. The Bulls have a disgruntled Oakley.

Hell, I'd take Vin Baker right now, if it'd remove the image of Kelly tiptoeing out of Shaq's way that's burned into the back of my retina.
