Hey guys after seeing this past finals and seeing that WADE is the real deal. My question to you is who would you rather have in your team Kobey or Wade? I rather have wade not only because i beleive he is the better all around player but because he has more of an upside to.

And another question do you guys think that if Kobe was in the Heat instead of Wade they still would have won the championship?? i beleive not due to the fact of Kobes problematic attitude, he would not have been able to mesh with G. Payton, Shaq, J.dub , or even Walker... hes just problematic!

Kobe would have won a championship with the Heat if he was on there team instead of Wade. He didn't have problems this season with the Lakers. He played with G. Payton before and got to the finals.

    IMO...

I would take Kobe over D. Wade...

Kobe is great. Wade is great.

I just prefer Kobe. I love his intensity and how he prepares and approaches the game. He reminds me of Michael more than Wade... I don't understand how you can compare Wade to Michael yet.

Now, you can begin to compare him to Kobe but only after he gets a total of 3 rings with Shaq. In this league Shaq will be a force somehow for his remaining four years so Wade has the opporunity to do so. The center is a position where Shaq can now use his smarts (whatever ones he does have) to be successful without dominating like his old self.

But something tells me the next 5 years will be Timmy/Manu/Mr. Longoria, Pistons, and Yao/T-Mac.

I do see Wade maybe getting two more at the most.

But my @$$ also see's Kobe getting four more so who knows...

    ... besides David Stern.

62 points in 3 quarters. Nuff said...

There is no way you can pick Wade over Kobe yet.. In the long run yes.. But if you looking for a fast shot at a championship or being a contender then yea Kobe.

As much as I hate to say it, Kobe would have been able to pull off the championship if he was on the Heat as well. He overachieved with nothing of a roster in L.A. besides Odom, but if he had a team that actually had a big man and some solid talent around him, he probably would have gotten past phoenix and he seems to give dallas fits just as wade did.

    I can and I will.

I take Wade with out even batting an eye.

    Wade is better. Period.

What more does he have to do before you can pick him? Has Kobe ever performed as good as wade in the finals? I don't think so. With out Wade Dallas would have swept the Heat.

Shaq is just a shell of his former self. I don't think this years version of the Lakers could have gotten past Dallas if this years version of Shaq was still teamed with Kobe.

I think even with out Shaq that the heat would have won the Championship and its because of Wade.

Kobe is the better talent, but I do think Wade has a better understanding of his abilities/limitations and is a smarter player, I haven't seen a guard play this efficiently in the playoffs for a long time...his shot selection is better than any other superstar backcourt player in the league.

Factoring in the age factor and the fact that I absolutely love the way Wade plays the game (his physical nature, his quickness, his indominable will, overall just his old skool approach to the game that is more resembling of MJ's toughness than any other guard in the league), I would pick Wade over Kobe. However, if I had to pick one backcourt player to start my franchise with, it would be Lebron, no ifs or buts about it.

Umm...how did he 'overachieve' again? He got his team into the playoffs, which most analysts predicted would happend before the season began. Then, he got into the playoff and had a 3-1 lead over the Suns' team, only to lose 3 straight and get booted out of the playoffs.

Kobe had a great season statistically, but I disagree that his team 'overachieved'. The only overachievers in the league this year have been the Suns.

The Lakers/Bryant lost 3 straight to an over achieving team while Heat/Wade went 4 straight to finish off the playoffs? Me thinks either too much credit is given to Bryant or not enough to the Suns ... maybe a little of both.

While I agree Bryant has better skills than Wade, Wade is everything that Bryant has lacked. There is much more to the game than scoring 62 points in 3 quarters. GM's would piss in thier pants to have Wade over Kobe and majority of the players would take Wade anyday over Bryant.

Wade is the superior player because teammates want to play with him. Kobe's teammates play with him because they must play with him. I equate Kobe to Marbury in New York -- great players who don't understand that the world doesn't revolve around them.

Jail time would have done Kobe some good and may yet be in his destiny. Sex offenders generally are repeat offenders.

They're both great players except that Kobe cries when he loses.

    81. That's all you need to know.

Even with his Jordanesque foul calls, Wade can never score like Kobe. He doesn't have enough range (YET). And Kobe is a much better defender.

Kobe is a better one on one player.

Wade is a better team player.

    Wade for me....

Dwade doesnt not score for a half to prove a point to his teammates and coaching staff.
Dwade doesnt give up in the 4th quarter if the team is down by 20pts.
Dwade doesnt care about the scoring title.

I think Dwade scores when his team need him to score, not to win scoring titles, Kobe looks like hes desperate to get his stats jacked up all the time instead of passing the ball to get his team involved. Why i think it is important to get his team involved all year is because in the Finals when they double you then you have guys with confidence that could hit key jumpers EX: James Posey, J-Dub, Walker etc...

Hmm, Kobe is the better player (better shooter, defender, and better in the clutch), and I would take him assuming he could play team ball. Maybe this season has humbled him.

Replace Wade with Kobe and I still think Miami wins (assuming no fights).

What, this past Tuesday wasn't a fast enough championship for you?
