Yo Jerry36 and Tigermission - I am by NO means a Kobe apologist or defender, and I did not see the play you two are referring to, but I know that contact is not required to suffer serious injury. Several years ago, I had a bad (is there such a thing as a good tear???) tear of my left ACL on a very simple headfake and turn for a layup. When I planted my left leg to jump after the fake my ACL went and there was basically NO contact!! Anyway, I don't really care if Kobe is hurt as long as he doesn't play!! I really think we just need one decent win to get us back on track emotionally. I know we're hurt, sore and tired, but sometimes you just need one good thing to go your way to get over the hump!!! So, whether Kobe plays or not, I'm in agreement with Tigermission that we need to hit them early, hit them hard and hit them often!! This is game that even we don't shoot well we need to just out muscle the "Late Lake Show"!!
Oh, I am not denying that it is possible he got injured, it is just that when Kobe was walking off the court after the injury, I thought the way he walked/looked was pretty fake to me. But again, that could just be me, because based on the type of person Kobe is, I wouldn't put anything past him. I don't care about him though, injury or not, I just hope the Rockets win this game. If Minny loses like 2 games or something, and then we win 2 more games we would've clinched the playoffs. Right now, that is what I am praying for.
