Hey, anyone have the latest on Kobe's status for Thursday's Rocket's game?

Last I heard he was listed as questionable...

    Thanks.

Day to day, missed last night's game. Their coach said they want to get him back for the Houston game yesterday on radio.

He managed to duck his team's eliminating game. Now that they are officially out of the playoffs, there's no harm for him to come on back, so I expect he'll play.

The way the Rox are playing, they need every advantage they can get...Kobe out = decent chance to break the slump.

    Thanks for the updates guys...

Kobe will go crazy on us because now he has nothing to play for, he will just pad his stat by trying to score a lot of points.

This is going to be tough. Tmac and Yao had a huge game last night, can they have another hugh night? If not, can other players, especially DW step up on both end? Call me crazy, I say we lose this one and win the rest of the games.

Says who. How did we play the old lakers last year. We dont need to worry about others on this Lakers team except for Butler and maybe dont leave Chucky on the 3pt line. Others just errant shooters. Trust me. We cannot panic when other lakers actully sink a shot or two. Just cannot afford let Kobe loose.

So basically you're saying he's going to play the same way that he has been his entire career....

Look out ofr Luke Walton - he's due for a 10 point outburst.

Kobe sits. He is too valuable to risk getting injured in a meaningless game. He will not come back until he is 100%. But the Rockets will continue to struggle.

Ain't nothing wrong with Kobe. He's faking his injury. I watch that play when got hurt over and over and I don't see where he got hurt.

Oh, we know! Everyone knows that, he was doing a very, very poor job of limping off the court as he walked towards the lockerroom after it happened. He knows there is no point to continue to hurt his body for no good reason. My guess is they are diving for a better lottery pick.

Still, if Odom is playing (I don't know if he is or not) then they have a threat right there.

The key will be the Rockets coming out of the gate FIRING, and I mean FIRING and attacking the Lakers relentessly and gaining up big on them at the beginning of the game. Then, continue to attack them the rest of the way.

I hope our f*cking shooters (DW, MJ, JB, Sura) will be on tomorrow.

Odom is out for the next few games if not the rest of the season.
