    I actual;ly hope Miami wins it all this year. I'd like to see Shaq get a ring without Kobe, rather than the other way around. It would be such poetic justice, given the fact that Kobe got Shaq traded. Wear your ego on your finger, Kobe, instead of the ring you'd have right now.

    And Lamar Odom was an Olympian who played great with Wade in Miami and was the number one option on that team. Who cares what awards they won in the past. Armstrong was a shell of his former self and Mike Miller was traded mid-season and in his 3rd year ... ROY didn't mean much then. And what do you mean he picked up a 41 win team? 2002-03 was his 3rd year with the Magic, not his first. The Magic got older and worse with each passing season because they couldn't improve their roster as a result of Grant Hill's max salary being an anchor on the team's cap flexibility.

    And the West isn't as hot this year as it was in the past.

    Great stats + mediocre team does not equal MVP.
