You are aware that Kobe is the reason he has bad team mates, he wanted to be the man, he didn't want to play with shaq. Now he is getting what he deserves. Odom is a very good player, i really hope he gets traded, because then he can show again how good he is. IMHO if Kobe really is that great, he can make his teammates better, and so far he NEVER made any teammate better. I really cannot stand the guy. I even dislike him more then Quitten(but that is only because Pippen stopped playing basketball)
ya know I didn't think that foul was that bad. I mean Miller got up after the foul, after a good flagrant foul, you shouldn't get up. If anything, Stern should suspend Kobe for a p***y foul..
All true about the Odom bit. The guy can play 5 positions. Riley remarked once that for his fantasy team, he'd want five 6'10 players who could do all that Odom does: pass, post up, shoot 3s, play D, and board. Yet Riley still traded Odom. For many, trading for Shaq is a no-brainer. But remember that Riley made the old Lakers around Magic while relegating aging Kareem to second fiddle (an unstoppable second fiddle...). Odom isn't Magic, but everyone knows he has the potential to reach there eventually. Everyone but Riley. He packaged Odom for a Shaq that plays 60 or so games.
Kobe is the best player in the NBA. For you to make commen like this is a suprise to me. The chance of winning a championship with Kobe is a lot better than Tmac. I don't have to prove it, history does speak for itself.
I'm really tired of hearing this excuse. Kobe had SHAQ. that is the only reason he won those championships. has he gotten the lakers in the play-offs since shaq? NO he hasn't. when compairing T-mac and Kobe with eachother you cannot include the championships, because T-mac never played with such a great center as kobe has.(yao is not even close to shaq in his prime). Kobe hasn't done anything with scrubs(and he has Odom who is a verry good player). T-mac even got that terrible Magic team into the play-offs(ok not everytime but still). I do not know if T-mac is better, but you cannot judge them on championships. Kobe is NOT the best player in the nba. He is a good player, i agree(altough i think he is not improving his teammates). But there are much better players(Duncan for example does make his teammates better)
Ehh... Tmac has Yao. Unless they sell out and sit b**** like Karl Malone, I don't think Kobe or Shaq will win another ring without the other.
