Just having alittle fun. Thinking about the allstar game and the possible starting backcourt of Francis and Kobe... Lets say Kobe and Shaq get into it and its time for Kobe to go what would you be willing to give up to get him? would you give up EG, Taylor, and Torres and the next 3 first round picks? or MOBLEY, EG, Thomas, and the next two years first round picks LA wouldn't consider this but would we? Just having fun, but that would be a bad a$$ backcourt.

The Rox could offer their entire current starting lineup and picks up the wazoo and I doubt it would get it done.
Personally, I would rather have just Mobes and the example than Kobe, let alone all of that other stuff that was attached at the end. Kobe minus Shaq = Stackhouse.
ummm...no. I think the Rockets are better off with Cuttino and Eddie. Seriously. Kobe "I wanna be Jordan...let me blow my injuries way out of proportion so Marv Albert will worship me and I can hit some clutch shots while clutching my ribs on NBC" Bryant isn't worth keeping Stevie's best friend and a future Garnettesque star.
This thread doesn't deserve a serious comment, but I can't help myself. Consider it a favor ally-oop. Number one, I wouldn't do any trade you suggested but not because I think we would be offering too much for kobe but because the rockets have zero depth. We'd be better off adding a talented player of a lesser degree than kobe than trading our whole team for him. Also, the lakers wouldn't do any of those deals either because in the makeup of their team they have enough role players, so they wouldn't gain any advantage in trading a bona fide superstar - and make no make - he is a star. So this trade is truly remarkable in that it hurts both teams!
Thanks for all of the responses I knew it would get a rise out of this board. I agree any type of trade like these would hurt both teams and WOULD NEVER HAPPEN. Just thinking about the possability of the best backcourt of all time. But seriously love the wit and humor
