I'm not even a Kobe fan. I'm just speaking in general about this whole "breaking ankles" thing. I would have stuck up for any other player for that matter. Oh and by the way, I'd trade ANY player on Rox team for Kobe in a heart beat. Even though I'm not a Kobe fan, I'm also not blind...
that was a great series of moves by beno but towards the end i think kobe definately tried to flop and get a call instead of finishing off the play. He definately did get crossed though but thats bound to happen when you play that aggressive on D as he was in that video. Also, i totally forgot about the new flop rule until i watched this video. I live in Lubbock for school and havent been able to catch any full games. Has there been much mention of the new rule so far and have you been able to notice a difference in play amongst some of the notorius floppers?
There was no push off, it actually looks like he is trying to help Kobe from falling. If you listen close you can hear those ankles breaking right before Kobe starts crying.
Really!! I mean Jordan averaged more steals and blocks than Kobe and is one of two players ever to get 200 steals and 100 blocks the same season and he did it three times. The other was Hakeem. didn't Arenas score 60 on a prime Kobe? Also Allan Houston scored 53 on prime Kobe when Shaq missed a game. And Iverson last year scored 51 on Kobe. Kobe gets his ankles broke by guys who aren't even stars in the league or guys who aren't even in the league. Case in point is below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjcPCSgpoZM&feature=related
Nice moves but most nights that ball gets stolen from Beno and Kobe jumps over an Aston Martin while dunking it on the other end.
IIRC I was criticized for saying he was an upgrade to our PG position ....and...guess what, he was, and STILL IS !! DD
And just because it's a Rockets board, let's watch Kobe play some D on Tracy! http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=QR1kz_9XYdk&feature=related
And in case that one was a bit boring - let's watch Kobe fall over again? http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=ds5JbmRS-Pk&feature=related
