Considering the Maloof's connection with New Mexico State, I'd bet on the Reggie Theus senerio followed by P.J. with JVG being third.

I really dont see JVG leaving after all he has done to build this team like he wants it.

money isnt even an issue, if it was, I'm pretty sure NY would pay him more than he gets here

You guys all know how hard everyone says he works, and you know what the goal is he is working for.....why would he go to a situation where his plans for a ring are set back three years?

    no way

As long as Les wants him, JVG is his.

Say what you want about his methods, he isnt a dumb man...you dont leave the best twosome in the league if your ultimate plans are to win a ring.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't think money motivates JVG much. Remember the stories of him driving an old beat-up Camry when he got to Houston? I'm sure he'll push Les for the most money he can get, but unless he thinks he has a better chance of winning a ring in Sacramento, I don't see him leaving.

local word=talk radio=absolutely no substance whatsoever

if it were up to talk radio, Garnett would be a Laker, Yao would be a Warrior and Roger Clemens would be a Yankee

Roger Clemens will be a Yankee and also i think the local radio talk reflect the local interest somewhat. We know now that Sactown at least has some interest in signing JVG this summer.

I'll ask my Kings fan manager right now what he thinks of this. I don't think he'll consider this having any validity to it. Why not Jerry Sloan, or any other decent coach flirting with being gone from their teams?

If the Kings get a hot commodity in JVG, why would we trade that for their castoff in Adelman? I say they just get Adelman back.

Well, we'll see how things end up if (sure hope not), Rockets do not advance.

I have $5.00 to assist the Maloof's in paying Van Gumby's salary for next season. Good riddence! I cannot wait for him to just quit or be fired!

JVG has invested a lot in this team, and now it's time for him to harvest....I fail to get the point for him to start a new mission.

If JVG guides this Rockets team to an NBA championship, I'll shed a tear or two when he leaves for another franchise.

Didn't he upgrade to the Camry when his old beat-up Honda got crushed by the team plane?

Adelman couldn't even get to the finals with one of the most talented lineups of the decade

I don't know. If so, that's a great story. I do know that Steve Francis talked him into buying a nicer car. I think he got a diesel Mercedes.

There is no way that JVG would quit coaching Tmac and Yao and go team up with freaking Ron Artest. Look at the Bonzi situation. JVG can do with lack of talent, but not lack of character. I can't worry less about this story.

My source told me that the Kings also want Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, Gregg Popovich. They will do everything they can to get one of them as the head coach, the other two as the assistants.

Agree, unless the Maloofs can off JVG a 26yr. old 7'6 all-star center, and one of the top 5 players in the league. The kings won't stand a fighting chance.

I put the fate of the coach and our best player almost in the same basket. JVG and TMac each profess a love of living in Houston. TMac loves playing for JVG and I can assume JVG doesn't mind getting to coach one of the most versatile players in the league. They each dug into their own pockets to get some crazier fans into the seats at Toyota Center.

Neither is perfect. JVG is stubborn as hell with his players (a good and a bad thing) and TMac has back problems and can coast in games.

But only a flameout in the playoffs would dictate JVG or TMac not being in Houston next year.
