How do you guys think the Kings will do in the playoffs this year? It is easy to forget that this team has still not made it out of the first round with their group and have almost no deep playoff experience beyond Vlade.

Despite their present 2 seed, I just cant see the Kings making it past Round 2, unless they get lucky and play Utah. Its too bad an early exit may also mean a Webber exit, cause any other year this would be the team I would be rooting for (as I hate Spurs, Lakers, Jailblazers, and Jazzholes)

I guess Ill just have to root for Dallas, or....hush, Minnesota--it owuld be funny if they won it all from the 8th seed after the whole Joe Smith fiasco. Id love to see Sterns reaction then.

They'll blow a 2-0 lead and lose to the Mavs in the first round.

The Kings could surprise. They are a good defensive team this year, which is much different from the past 2 years. Webber is a stud, Stoy is playing great this year, Divac is an above average center.
The west is wide open this year. SA is the best team but they are beatable, the Lakers & Blazers both have more talent but neitehr is playing like a championship team, Dallas is playing as well as anyone, Utah hasd the knack of overcoming their age each year.
So basically they have as good as chance as anyone, except SA who is a lil better than anyone else in the wide open west.

If the playoffs started today, the Kings (2)would be facing the Suns (7). Do you really think the Suns could catch the Mavericks?

No way. If the Mavs are going to move anywhere in the standings it would be moving past Portland into the #5 spot again.

No, I thought that the Kings would drop down. I thought they were in third place when I wrote that. The Mavs are good. They aren't dropping, only rising.
