nah in reality the best offer we could give them would be

    Garnett for

Stromile Swift (cant be traded til dec 15th)
    luther head
    bobby sura
moochie norris ( for contract to work)

    cash considerations

    2 1st round picks.

thats basically the most fair i cane come up with where they get 2 young players, a couple of draft picks and alot of cap flexibilty for when they rebuild. sura could even be swapped for wesley if they didn't want to have any extra cap commitments. plus it lets us keep yao and tmac together.

i'd swing the deal it would leave a team of

    Yao
    Garnett
    Tmac
    Anderson
    Alston

    Mutombo
    Howard
    Wesley
    Barry
    Bowen
    Baxter
    Glover

Kobe's got a no-trade clause. I would be shocked if he accepted a trade to Minny. KG for Odom, Bynum and picks is much more likely IMO.

Sounds ridiculous, but I say why not? If Miami can get Shaq for Odom and Butler, I guess pigs can really too. If pigs can fly, Swift + Head for KG sounds good.

i wouldn't worry about the 8man roster. with yao/tmac/kg/ad/alston as our starting lineup, people will kill to play for us, FOR FREE!

dude since when did we become lakerfan-esque with these silly trade ideas and scenarios?

we got a great team as it is and i dont think getting another 'star' player will necessarily help without breaking up the core of good young talent we have. Getting another role player is one thing. KG is not coming here unless he is a FA willing to take the min.

if KG does come here i'll be a laker fan for a day ***shivers***
