On Espn this morning they were discussing the possibility of KG getting traded to a contender this year. Sounds far fetched I know but can't hate on someone for dreaming about having KG paired with Mcgrady. Would there be any way on God's green earth that this could be done ?

You'd have to trade Yao at the very least.

I'll talk to my dad but there's even a limit to what he can make work under the salary cap.

    Sincerely,

Yao for kg? I'd do that in a heartbeat from a basketball standpoint. But for a money making standpoint, if I owned the rockets i'd rather have Yao.

I don't know. KG's been logging a lot of minutes and carrying a team for a decade now. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a drop off in his play over the next couple of years.

I like KG, but I wouldn't trade an up and coming 7'6" center for him.

    trade accepted
Due to Minnesota and Houston being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Minnesota and Houston had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

    Yao
    Swift
    KG
    Tmac
    Alston

It is one decent starting lineup, isn't it?

i might have been up for a KG for yao trade at the begining of last season.

this season however, i have high hopes for yao and if he delivers then there is no reason to even think about such a trade. take into consideration age, years in the league, potential, and marketability. yao is still the more favorable player.
