Everyone talks about the same thing. Easy to say, hard to do, harder to do it consistently. -Littlefish
The Rockets say that, they know that's the case for them, too. They're just so inconsistent throughout the season that they don't always share it. If you notice lately thought, the Rockets are starting to get 20+ assists more often; that used to NEVER happen. Oh but that's right, every game we play now goes into overtime, but still. The Rockets have said before when they share it, they can't be beaten - AND THEY'RE RIGHT!.
he forgot to add in "there's no I in team", "we have to give 110%", and "we need to score more points than the other team in order to win"
I don't think its that the Rockets don't have this mindframe, its that they don't have the ability to execute this plan. When you consistently have 20+ TOs a game, that means you can't share the ball effectively even if you want to. The guys are learning and regardless of what people say we HAVE seen improvement from the beginning of the season to now. I truly do not believe its a selfish attitude problem that is limiting the Rockets. Simply put ... we are not a good passing team and until they can learn the skill they will be stuck with the 6-8 seed in the playoffs. It will come.
But you have to get to the next level. Only then can you go on to the level after that. The playoffs are a whole 'nother level. You just have to keep raising your level to the next level.
All we need to improve is our rebounding, offense, and defense a little bit. Then we'll be a better team I think.
We just gotta put the ball in the hole, once we're consistent at putting the ball in the hole, nobody'll stop us.
My favorite: "We've just gotta take it one game at a time" I've decided that we should really try to take it two games at a time, just to be different. -- droxford
