Come trade deadline teams in search of cap relife will pay a good deal for his contract. We might get a good player and/or a 1st round pick.
As someone mentioned, come trade deadline time when we're sputtering along at a glacial pace, he'll be worth a bit. We should be able to get a nice return for him. UNFORTUNATELY, Morey is still our GM at this time. He'll have some BS excuse on why he wanted to keep Kevin Martin.
I'd love to have k-mart as a 6th man for the last year of his deal. Of course, he would never play the 6th man role, so I'll see myself out.

The reason we got the 18th is because Chase has a great contract and is entering the prime of his career. If a team were to trade a 1st rounder they would have to absorb some of his contract. Unless we could afford to send cash along with him. Doesnt seem like a Les move to me though... he is more likely to be traded for a declining player like himself. Maybe im being pessimistic but its hard not to be these last 3 years...
Lamb could play as insurance when k Mart gets hurt. Also can learn from a vet SG while he has some similarities to k mart
